ACCIÓN CONTRA EL HAMBRE (ACTION AGAINST HUNGER) is an international, private, non-governmental, non-denominational apolitical, and non-lucrative organisation, created in 1979, active throughout the world. Its mission is to combat hunger, poverty and life-threatening situations that place the lives of defenceless men, women and children at risk.

Currently, 500 collaborators and 5000 staff members work for the International Action Network against Hunger in more than forty countries, coordinated from headquarters in Paris, Madrid, London, New York and Montreal in the following areas: nutrition, health, food security, water, sanitation and hygiene.
